I can agree with these results. I tend to want to dig deeply into the game and learn all there is to learn, but I hate feeling pressured to compete with other players to do so. I enjoy making friends though I’m somewhat of an introvert, and I like to go after objectives -but only to a point; there must be a reason. I’m not a fan of mindless repetition for repetition’s sake.

Favorite Aspects of MMORPGs
World design, exploration, moderate-size groups, and achieving objectives collaboratively. Sandbox MMOs appeal to me the most because they provide a fantastic avenue for creativity and exploration of game environments and mechanics. I am hoping both Ashes of Creation and Pantheon lean heavily on sandbox design style.
Preferred Group Role
I enjoy all of them but I’ve especially enjoyed tanking in the past. That’s a big shift for me because for many years I was a healer.
Preferred Types and Styles of Play
Solo open world exploration, small-to-moderate-sized groups, world bosses, open-world PVP in large groups.
Other Game Types Enjoyed
I’ve played my fair share of strategy games. Many hours of Star Wars: Empire at War. Third-person-style RPGs tend to make up the lion’s share of my play history and stream time: Diablo 2 for many years, just now getting into Assassin’s Creed (Odyssey, Valhalla, Origins; I’m too new to AC to start with the “classic” games), and the Witcher. I’ve even been dabbling with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 lately. I’m also a fledgling Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition player looking to get my feet wet in DMing sometime soon.

Blogging, podcasting, livestreaming. I used to run a website called iamsechari.com which I regret taking down, blogging about Star Wars: The Old Republic. I got my feet wet in podcasting joining the cast of Passionately Casual Podcast some episodes in (the cast to whom I am forever indebted and affected as a content creator).
